Rebecca Murga, MFA ’23, a veteran and filmmaker, uses her platform and skillset to share the untold stories of underrepresented communities in the military.
Ignite Equity: Rebecca Murga, M.F.A. ’23
Rebecca Murga, M.F.A. ‘23, recognizes the power of storytelling. Her unique perspective as a Puerto Rican woman and military veteran motivates her to spotlight diverse experiences in her work. She’s using her platform as a filmmaker to lift up underrepresented voices, and her stories will soon reach the masses when her new show, directed by Spike Lee, premieres on Amazon Prime.
